Personal Statement
Andrew Hefter was born 1990 in Austin, Texas. He began photographing in 2005 and is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Photography with a Graphic Design minor at Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD). Andrew's work analyzes the idea of a photo about mystery (in the manner of Magritte) and looks at how seemingly unrelated objects can form meaning and become captivating when brought together inexplicably.
